Splinter Cell Blacklist is everything you want in a third-person stealth game. It has great handling, plenty of customization and stays true to itself and its goals. Fans of the series are going to really feel how this game goes back to its roots over the more action-oriented Conviction.

After a frankly stupid amount of pre-release trailers and press-baiting teasers, the new Splinter Cell is finally here amidst the weeks where the industry kicks back before the run-up to Xmas. Was it worth the wait? Oh, hell yes.

ZTGD | Splinter Cell: Blacklist Review

Ken McKown writes: Sam Fisher and I have had a hard road together. I still remember seeing the original game and its technical prowess and being floored. Over the years though, the series has seen its ups and downs far too often. When Blacklist was announced my radar didnt even blip. The idea of another adventure down the stealth path of frustration wasnt all that intriguing. After spending numerous hours globetrotting around the world with the new Sam I can say that the series has never been better. Blacklist takes everything I loved about the series and refines and redefines it. This is the best Splinter Cell game I have played since Chaos Theory.

Splinter Cell Blacklist Review | ScrewAttack

ScrewAttack: "The world is under attack from a rouge MI5 agent and his organization The Engineers. Only one man can save us from all out war in Splinter Cell: Blacklist and that man is Sam Fisher. But Sam Fisher has undergone a few changes, for the better in my opinion. Meaning pedantic fanboys who miss Michael Ironsides sultry voice should go kick rocks, because this might just be one of the most dynamic and entertaining Splinter Cell experiences yet."

Review: Splinter Cell Blacklist - MKGaming

Added: 28.08.2013 19:19 | 13 views | 0 comments

MKGaming - "Splinter Cell Blacklist is a rompingly enjoyable sneak-fest. It has its niggles here and there, the controls can be fiddly at times and some of the guards seem to come equipped with their own Spidey Sense but thats doesnt tar the experience too much. The game looks fantastic, on the Xbox 360 youll get a second disc with a high resolution texture pack which you can install before playing. You can play the game how you want, whether youre a sneaky Simon or a gun-ho Gary youll be able to tweak the experience to suit. Youll come for the campaign and stay for the multiplayer, so theres no risk of getting bored any time soon."

Splinter Cell: Blacklist (Xbox 360) Get Sneaky With the New Sam Fisher | C.O.G.

It might take some time to adjust but a new Splinter Cell with a new Sam Fisher is just as good, if not better, than some of its predecessors. CanadianBoarder over at COG takes a look and gives his impressions. "Ok, wait just a second here. You expect me to play a Splinter Cell game where Sam Fisher isnt played by Michael Ironside? Yeah, thats not going to happen. Those were the immediate thoughts that ran through my head when it was announced that Mr. Ironside felt like he was too old to keep up as Splinter Cells main protagonist in Blacklist, the newest game in this storied franchise. In my eyes it was like replacing the lead singer of a well-known band. We know that often times that scenario just doesnt work out. I mean lets be serious for a second, who actually likes Sammy Hagar before David Lee Roth? NOBODY, thats who. Kids, if you dont know who Im talking about feel free to fire up Wikipedia."
